Showcasing paintings for the church

Welcome to my site everyone.  My name is Scott Knox and I have discovered, albeit late in life, that I have some artistic skill and passion which I love to share. My site is designed to give you an avenue to explore my paintings and perhaps a bit more. 

The mission is really simple – to highlight the fingerprints of God in the world by showcasing the beauty wherever I find it.  Initially my focus for this site is on painting but eventually other creative outlets such as plays, and blogs will appear. 

Based on the title, you may wonder if this is one of those sites that beat you over the head with God and Jesus and the bible.  I pray you will never think so. This site is devoted to my artwork. That said, I am a Christian and feel I have been blessed in many ways. As such I feel a need to share with you my motivations and thoughts in a friendly and caring way because otherwise, this site is just a bunch of pictures. And you can get that from your favorite search engine, right?

So take a look at my work and see what you think. Yes, my beliefs drive my artwork in both subtle and obvious ways but while you are here, I will do my best to focus on the art and let you and God figure out the rest.
